Dr Jeremy Hawe is a Consultant Gynaecologist with an interest in minimal access gynaecological surgery practicing in Corniche Hospital Abu Dhabi since July 2021. He previously worked as a Consultant in the UK for 20 years, where he led a tertiary level minimal access gynaecological surgery and advanced endometriosis centre. He has researched on endometrial ablation techniques, laparoscopic management of endometriosis and laparoscopic hysterectomy, giving lectures nationally and internationally and has published extensively in peer reviewed journals gaining a national and international reputation in the field on minimal access surgery.

He also worked with NICE, on guideline committees and as an expert advisor performing appraisals on laparoscopic hysterectomy, endometrial ablation techniques and on guideline groups resulting in the publication of the 3 NICE guidelines on ovarian cancer, best tests for ovarian cancer and endometriosis. He also works as an author with EIDO, providing evidence-based patient information leaflets to SEHA and the NHS.
