Overview
Find out how scanned images are developed into hard bone-like tissue and surgically drilled in preparation for an endoscopic ventricular procedure. The procedure is performed on silicon 3D printed anatomically accurate brain models and streamed LIVE to the audience.

Minimally Invasive Laparoscopic Nephrectomy

Overview
Watch how MRI images are converted to life-like 3D models of the patient’s renal system complete with a tumour. The renal printed organ and system will then be placed in a surgical dummy and filled with a replaceable blood supply for added realism. The surgeon will perform a minimally invasive laparoscopic nephrectomy using laparoscopic techniques to demonstrate the accuracy of this training procedure and streamed LIVE to the audience. A question and answer debate will allow attendees to gain in depth knowledge of the technology, the procedure and the skills. Heart Valve Replacement using Virtual Reality

Target Audience:

Overview
MRI scan of the patient’s heart will be used to create 3D printed soft tissue replicas for surgical procedures. An OR surgical practice dummy will be used with the 3D printed heart placed inside for the surgeon to perform the heart valve replacement procedure. The surgeon will wear virtual reality (VR goggles for a fully immersive teaching experience which will be streamed LIVE to the audience. A question and answer debate will allow attendees to gain in depth knowledge of the technology, the procedure and the skills.
