Overview

Discover the most advanced ultrasound techniques across two 90-minute training sessions, taking place each day of Arab Health. Run in association with Carestream, a worldwide provider of medical and dental imaging systems and IT solutions, the sessions will be run by ultrasound industry leaders.

Sessions take place between 10.30 - 12.00 and 15.30 to 17.00 each day.

Spectral Doppler Signature Waveforms Explained

This session takes place once a day, each day of the exhibition

Capacity: 20 attendees per sessions

Who should attend: Radiologists, senior radiologists, sonographers

Overview:

Understanding the readings of various Doppler waveform patterns is highly critical for accurate clinical diagnosis.

This training session offers attendees the opportunity to review and assess the normal and abnormal spectral signature waveforms in various vessels, including the carotid and vertebral arteries, visceral vessels, vessels supplying transplant organs, and extremity vessels. Thorough the training, assessment of the normal and abnormal readings will be emphasised using ultrasound spectral Doppler and the “genetic code” of spectral Doppler signature waveforms will be shared.

Overcoming Angle Dependence in Doppler Ultrasound

This session takes place once a day, each day of the exhibition

Overview:

Obtaining accurate Doppler computations depends on many factors rendering Doppler and flow tenuous, problematic and time-consuming and creating a demand for a more efficient process.

This hands-on training session presents attendees with the latest advancements in ultrasound imaging technology overcoming issues caused by conventional Doppler computations. The technology presented enables the detection and visualisation of complex flows in multi-directions including axial and perpendicular. Providing a more comprehensive hemodynamic assessment for stronger clinical diagnosis whilst increasing productivity and improving efficiency of workflows.
