Overview

Discover the most advanced treatment process at this Hands-on-Training module. Run in association with Emirates Urological Society and leading equipment providers Karl Storz, Nael Medical, Coloplast and Pusen Medical Technology in the MENA region, four sessions will be delivered by world renowned educational experts across the four days of the exhibition.

CME credit hours will be provided.

Day 1: Monday, 30 Jan

Hands-on Training on Flexible Ureteroscopy (FURS) for Retrograde Intra Renal Surgery (RIRS)

Delivered by Emirates Urological Society in association with Karl Storz

Target Audience:

  • General Urologists
  • Endo-Urologists
  • Stone-disease management
  • Those with an interest in Endo-Urology (residents, fellows, specialists, registrar and senior registrar)

Overview:
We are pleased to offer visitors of Arab Health a unique opportunity to develop the Flexible URS procedures under the mastery of Emirates Urological Society and the innovation in technology organisation Karl Storz.

A first in the world collaboration this education is delivered by world experts in endourology who share knowledge and practice of the flexible URS procedure that attendees can apply in their hospital immediately.

Hands on Training of Single-Use Ureteroscope for Retrograde Intrarenal Surgery (RIRS)

  • Those with an interest in Endo-Urology (residents, fellows, specialists, registrar and senior registrar)

Overview:

Combining the very best of education and innovation we present a training session endorsed by the Emirates Urology Society and in collaboration with Pusen Medical Techology.

We bring you the first company in the world that launched the single-use Ureteroscope. In comparison to the reusable version, it is proven to be more cost-effective, no cross-infection, requires no maintenance or sterilization.

Learning Objectives/Goals:

  • Time and cost reduction strategies will be discussed
  • Depth understanding of the technology will be presented
  • Clinical application and outomes will demonstrated

Day 3: Wednesday, 1 Feb

Hands on Training of Single Use Device To Remove JJ Stent

Delivered by Emirates Urological Society in association with Coloplast

Target Audience:

  • General urologists
  • Endo-urologists
  • Stone disease management

Overview:
Combining the very best of education and innovation we present a training session endorsed by the Emirates Urology Society in collaboration with Coloplast.

This training is designed to train specialists in cystoscopic ureteral stent removal. Options to remove stents by a single operator will be shared as well as knowledge and experience of the technology.

Learning Objectives/Goals:

  • Stent safety and removal options will be shared and learnt
  • Solo operator practice and experience will be delivered
  • Time and cost reduction strategies will be discussed

Day 4: Thursday, 2 Feb

I see, I target, I record: a hands-on training program on targeted prostate biopsy

Delivered by Emirates Urological Society in association with Nael Medical

Target Audience:

  • General urologists
  • Endo-urologists
  • Stone disease management
  • Urooncology
  • Prostate cancer centres and clinics
  • General radiologists
  • Intervention radiologists
  • Radiology technicians

Overview:
A first in the world collaboration between the clinical education provider Emirates Urological Society and the innovation in technology organisation Nael Medical. We are proud to present the latest knowledge and experience in targeted prostate biopsy technology at Arab Health.

Each session will be three hours with one hour of presentation and two hours for hands-on training

Learning Objectives/Goals:

  • In-depth knowledge of the cartography technique for targeted prostrate biopsy
  • Hands-on experience of targeted prostate biopsy using the 3D TRUS and MRI fusion techniques
  • Understand the details of 3D prostrate mapping, organ based tracking and elastic fusion for targeted prostate biopsy
