The largest ever Arab Health Exhibition and Congress, the world’s second largest healthcare exhibition, took place last month and sold out the entire Dubai World Trade Centre for the 37th year running. Final post-show numbers are being calculated and we expect all those who took part in the event to be as pleased as we are with the results.
In this month’s issue we speak to Dr Yasser Sharif, Section Head, Medication and Medical Products Safety and Manager of Poison and Drug Information Center, Health Authority – Abu Dhabi, about the precautionary measures that need to be taken to avoid accidental overdose in children. Medication safety was a hot topic at the 5th Middle East Paediatrics Conference at Arab Health 2012.
