Main interest and experience Synopsis:

• Fracture wrist and Hand, Ligaments repair or Reconstruction, Madelung, Congenital and Traumatic Deformities, Painful wrist, Treatment of OA of the hand with joint replacement.
• She has published a number of papers in hand pathology and trauma, and has been an invited speaker in a large number of local, European and International Congresses, been also co-author of a book edited in Spain, where was invited to write some of the chapters, aa well as a chapter in a book called Hand Surgery in 2010.
• She is a member of the British Society for the Surgery of the Hand (BSSH), Spanish Society for Surgery of the Hand (SECMA), European Society for Surgery of the Hand (FSSH), British Orthopaedic Association (BOA), Spanish Society of Cosmetic Medicine and Surgery and British Medical Association (BMA).
• Always involved in teaching. She has been an invited visiting Professor in a number of Courses in Hand Surgery. She is a Faculty professor in the 2 year Fellowship training program in Hand Surgery running in Gaza Strip. Examiner for the GMC (PLAB) and for London University. She has also worked for the GMA during 5 years as an Assessor for Fitness in Orthopaedics.
• After 10 years working in Spain and 18 years working in UK, she came to UAE, Abu Dhabi 3 years ago when she was working at SKMC as the only Hand surgeon, now at Medcare Hospital. Since then she has been working hard in create an Emirate Hand Surgery Club, base of a future Hand Society and running twice a year Conferences in hand surgery.
