Calling all healthcare innovators, disruptors, and entrepreneurs to showcase their amazing idea or product to the industry leaders.

Featuring innovative start-ups from all over the world, this is your chance to learn more about what these entrepreneurs are doing in the realm of sustainability, the theme for 2023. 

Deadline to apply has now passed. The shortlist will be live soon.

Under the overarching theme of sustainability, we will have three different focus days: FemTech, UN SDGs and Wellbeing.

The winner of Innov8 Talks 2023, will not only get the recognition and the once in a lifetime opportunity to present their innovation to the international healthcare community but will also receive:

The competition will consist of 3 rounds and the finale. With 8 pitches per round, show the competition judges how you are changing the face of healthcare. The winner from each round will compete in the finale.

The competition will run in person during Arab Health 2023, 30 Jan - 1 Feb

This year, we will have 24 start-ups participating across 3 days under 3 different themes

The breakdown and concept

The concept:

  • 5 minutes to pitch and 3 minutes of Q&A with the judges
  • Top 3 finalists will compete in the finale on Wednesday, 1 February 
  • 3 Rounds, with 8 start-ups in each 

Terms:

  • It is free to participate, however, you are responsible for your own flight and accommodation to attend the event
  • You will be contacted directly if your application is accepted
  • Please share as much information as possible about your company/product/idea in order to be considered

Agenda:

  • Jan 30 – day 1: FemTech – start-ups that are in the FemTech realm, looking to improve women’s overall health with the use of technology
  • Jan 31 – day 2: UN SDGs – start-ups with a product, idea, or innovation that support the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, which are a collection of 17 interlinked global goals designed to be a "blueprint to achieve a better and more sustainable future for all" 
  • Feb 1 – day 3: Wellbeing – start-ups that look to address mental health challenges, accessibility and disabilities
  • Feb 1 – Final round, on day 3: The winner from day 1, 2 and 3
