Enterprise health IT modernization for decentralized care

Nordic Consulting

Monday 30th January | 15:30

Transformation Zone | P.L10

Summary

Even before implementation, the journey to a modern data infrastructure starts with the right strategy for EMR and ERP that can serve as the backbone for the plentitude of consumer-generated and clinical data coming from new sources and care modalities. This is a necessary part of delivering efficient and effective care in an increasingly Decentralized Care ecosystem, where an organization’s technology stance extends beyond the brick walls to the mobile patient who is used to a clickable experience. A comprehensive digital strategy is not a one–size–fits–all approach that draws on lessons learned from other health systems around the globe. Several factors will be considered, including the community of patients one serves and an organization’s ability to build on basic IT principles to achieve truly transformative care.

Learning objectives:

  • What a comprehensive approach to EMR implementation and digital health means for healthcare providers and how to define a strategy for your organization
  • The importance of public/private cloud solutions, cybersecurity, and data analytics solutions to digital health
  • A glimpse at the future state of digital healthcare delivery
