We foster good citizenship and promote ethical business behavior, working proactively with governments, regional bodies and healthcare professionals to deliver quality solutions for better patient outcomes.

Rami Rajab
Chairman

Rami Rajab is the Chairman of Mecomed, the Middle East and Africa Trade Association for Medical Devices, Diagnostics and Imaging.   He is also the Chairman of LivaNova’s LIFE global CSR and the Head of the company’s ESG Task Force and is responsible for the company’s Donations and Grants. He is active with various focus groups in several regional and international trade associations.

Over the last 35 years Rami covered roles in Sales, Distribution Management, Team and Regional Leadership in various geographies covering the Middle East & Africa, Europe, Latin America, and APAC before holding Global roles.

He was actively engaged in the Cyberonics – Sorin Group merger and integration leading Sorin Intercontinental Sales Team, resulting in the creation of LivaNova.

Rami has a solid understanding of markets dynamics and particularities, engaging and cooperating with various stakeholders at various levels of the healthcare ecosystem including government officials, hospital groups, International Medical Associations and International Healthcare bodies on matters related to health policy, Market Access, Innovation, Ethics and Compliance, legislation and reimbursement.
