Through a combination of demonstrations, simulator sessions, hands-on practice, and a round table discussion with robotic experts, participants will gain a thorough understanding of this innovative surgical technology.

Dr. Hatem Moussa
Director of Robotic Surgery Center of Excellence / Consultant General Surgeon
American Hospital Dubai

Dr. Hatem Moussa is an American Board Certified since 2006 and a fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He is also a Certified Proctor Robotic Surgeon. Dr. Moussa is an expert in robotic-assisted laparoscopic surgeries. He performs a variety of complex surgeries including colorectal, hernia, thyroid, and parathyroid surgeries through different methods, including open, laparoscopic, and robotic. He completed his surgical training at the State University of New York in Brooklyn, New York where he was appointed as an assistant professor in the department of surgery 2005.
