Dr Bindiya Jhamb
Surgical Chair and Consultant – Obstetrics and Gynaecology
Abu Dhabi Stem Cells Center

Dr Bindiya Jhamb is the Surgical Chair and Consultant for Obstetrics and Gynaecology at the Abu Dhabi Stem Cells Center, a subsidiary of PureHealth Group, based in Abu Dhabi, UAE. A British board-certified professional who has been extensively trained in the United Kingdom, Dr Jhamb has over 20 years of experience in the field of obstetrics and gynaecology.

Dr Jhamb has been the lead for regenerative medicine for various gynaecological procedures at ADSCC and Yas Clinic Hospital in Khalifa City, Abu Dhabi, and previously at the NMC Royal Hospital in Khalifa City.

Before moving to the UAE in June 2016, Dr Jhamb worked as a Consultant Gynaecologist at the prestigious Central Manchester University Hospitals NHS Trust and Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust in the UK. She was the Lead Consultant in Early Pregnancy Units in the UK and was instrumental in setting up innumerable services at various UK hospitals. Dr Jhamb has been an active member of the Collaborative Action in Lowering Maternal Deaths (CALMED) charity project sponsored by Rotary International. She was also nominated as the principal investigator for the GEM 3 Trial for Nottingham University Hospitals in 2016.

Dr Jhamb is a faculty member of the Royal College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology (MRCOG) examination, a member of the Practical Obstetric Multi-Professional Training (PROMPT), and a member of the Basic Practical Skills Course in the UK. She has been actively involved in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching in the UK and UAE. Dr Jhamb has several national and international publications and presentations to her credit and is also an invited reviewer of international journal articles. She also contributes as an Executive Editor to the Pan Asia Journal of Obstetrics and Gynaecology. 

Dr Jhamb has completed her MD, is a member of the Royal College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology (MRCOG), has a Fellowship in Minimal Access Surgery (FMAS), and has a Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT).
