Dr. Ahmed El-Laboudi is a Consultant Endocrinologist and Diabetologist at Imperial College London Diabetes Centre in Abu Dhabi and an Adjunct Associate Clinical Professor of Medicine in Khalifa University. 

He was awarded a PhD degree  in the fields of diabetes technology through his work as a member of the Imperial College London Diabetes Technology group in the UK. 

His clinical and academic interests include management of type 1 diabetes and complex diabetes, and application of new technologies including insulin pump therapy, continuous glucose monitoring and closed-loop systems. 

He has published several papers in peer-reviewed journals and presented his research in major international conferences. He is also passionate about medical education and has substantial teaching experience.
