What are the talks?

The importance of innovation in healthcare is determined to rapidly produce change in areas including prevention, technology enabled care, personalized care, better health outcomes, cost effectiveness and all-around efficiency. We’ve seen an exponential interest in themes such as artificial intelligence, virtual reality and blockchain within digital health to create change and improve patient care.

The Innov8 Talks, taking place in the new Innovation Hub will host 8 pitches, 8 minutes long, across each day of Arab Health.  With a dedicated theme revolving around innovation in healthcare, the judging panel will determine the best pitch at the end of each day.

Arab Health is calling all start-ups and SMEs focused in the field of healthcare to apply to be a part of our new exciting feature.  As healthcare is catching up with other industries when it comes to disruptive changes, this is your chance to showcase your innovation in healthcare to a panel of industry experts, and an audience of potential investors.

8 minutes to pitch the concept and idea behind the company to our esteemed panel of judges that drive innovation in the UAE through incubator and accelerator programs, partnerships and investments. 

Be as creative and engaging as possible to showcase your innovative product. This is your chance to share how you are improving the healthcare industry to an audience of potential investors, and to network with a wide selection of industry experts.

  • Innov8 Talks take place: Monday, 28 - Thursday, 31 January 2019.

  • If you are not contacted directly before Friday, 23 November, then unfortunately your application has not been successful.
  • All decisions made by Arab Health and associated bodies throughout the Innov8 Talks process and event are final.
