Leading UK manufacturer Lawton Tubes will be showcasing its expertise as a UK household name in medical gas pipeline applications at this year’s Arab Health as the company celebrates its 15th year at the show.
Since the start of the pandemic the company has been a critical supplier of copper pipelines not just within the UK but in over 35 countries. Joining the ABHI UK Pavilion, the company will be celebrating their customers’ achievements in supplying medical grade oxygen to site across the world in the fight against covid – while showcasing why copper tube is the perfect medium for carrying medical gases.
Copper – one of the world’s most sustainable materials – is the preferred metal when it comes to carrying oxygen from the plant room to patients’ bedside. The surface of copper itself is antimicrobial and can effectively kill the most toxic bacteria, fungi and viruses. The material has the added benefit of being 100% recyclable to help with health systems’ agenda to cut down on their carbon footprint.
The majority of British Companies in medical gas pipeline devices recommend and use Lawton Tubes’ wide range of copper tubes, which they also supply to the UAE.
In the 15 years since they began attending Arab Health, Lawton Tubes have grown as an export business; the company was recognised with The Queen’s Award for International Trade in 2019, which has firmly put the family business on the international map as the brand for copper pipelines in the private and public healthcare sector.
Within the last decade the company’s growth and overseas expansion now sees their brand in over 35 countries across four markets, including plumbing, air-conditioning, medical and industrial.
Robert Lawton, Marketing & International Sales Director, said: “We are excited to be celebrating 15 years’ attendance Arab Health alongside customers from across the GCC and SE Asia. We are looking forward to joining the ABHI in showcasing that we are universally approved by Health departments across the world and that 99% of British Companies in medical gas pipeline devices recommend and use of our products. We’ll also be looking ahead to next year’s challenges to supply pipelines to large PFI hospital builds each national government has planned, while educating those that are unaware what vital equipment is placed behind the walls in hospitals.”
Lawton Tubes have preselected 10 key customers who they feel have gone above and beyond the normal supplier/customer partnership, and will be presenting hand finished copper recognition awards to those that have helped them achieve their goals over the last 15 years at this year’s exhibition.
Lawton Tubes – the UK’s leading supplier of sustainable copper pipes for large medical installations – have been producing and distributing copper tubes since the very start of when EN13348 standard came into existence in the 1980’s. In addition to this, they also supply accessories such as copper fittings, ID gas tapes, pipe supports, brazing rods and line valves.
The company works extremely closely with every British Medical Gas Plant manufacturer as well as overseas to include Beacon Medaes, Millennium Medical (MMPL) and Draeger.
The Arab Health Exhibition & Congress is taking place from 30 January – 2 February 2023 at the Dubai Convention and Exhibition Centre. Throughout the exhibition, Lawton Tubes will be located on the ABHI UK Pavilion – Stand H2.F51.
