Janahan is an expert in Digital, IT Strategy, Business Architecture and Business Transformation. He leads the Digital Health & Life Sciences businesses for PwC Middle East. Prior to that he held similar roles at IBM Middle East and EY Middle East.

He brings more than 20 years of Global Consulting expertise across Europe, North America, Middle East and Asia. His focus has been on assisting organizations successfully design and implement integrated business, technical and organizational change to achieve pragmatic and achievable results. He has consulted at all organizational levels, providing his clients with transformational thought leadership.

Relevant Experience: Currently building a practice for PwC Middle East focused on Digital Health and Life Sciences working with clients in the UAE, KSA and Qatar. Focus areas are on: Healthcare Platforms; AI & Cloud strategy; Digital ventures & labs.

Built and grew IBM’s footprint within a GCC Healthcare market with focus on the AI enabled Innovation, Wellness and Population Health Analytics. Started from a $200k/year business in 2017 to one with a $15+m pipeline in 2021. Successfully transformed key clients (within & externally) through engagement and demonstrated concrete outcomes at the Arab Health expo 2 years in a row.

Developed the AI strategy & roadmap for a Genomics fast-track start-up as the company created new solutions to enable Clinical Decision Making at UK Foundation trust hospitals and International Hospital networks. Advised through the implementation and integration efforts.

Partnered with the C-Suite of a large NHS Foundation Trust to develop a 5 year plan for how the ICT/IM&T departments would evolve to meet the Trusts growth plans. As a result, incremental benefits of around £20m pa were identified in the near term. In addition, an estimated £50m-£70m of income generating opportunities was identified.

As a fervent advocate for the transformative power of data science in healthcare, I have dedicated my 17-year career to designing and implementing AI-enabled solutions that enhance care delivery and improve population outcomes. My journey in healthcare has led me to serve in different areas of the health ecosystem, where I've consistently leveraged the potential of AI and ML to bring about meaningful changes in individual wellness and population care. 

Residing in the dynamic city of Riyadh with my family, I am continually inspired by the rapid advancements in healthcare technology and the unique challenges it presents. My approach to data science and AI is not just about numbers and algorithms; it's about how these elements can enable precise and personalized care, making a real difference in people's lives.
