Professor Andrea Laghi is Full Professor and Chairman of Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology at ‘Sapienza’ University of Rome, “Sant’Andrea” Hospital. He is also board certified in Nuclear Medicine. He currently is Vice-President and member of the Executive Committee of ESGAR (European Society of Gastrointestinal and Abdominal Radiology), President-elect and member of the Executive Committee of ESOI (European Society of Oncologic Imaging). He is ESGAR delegate at the General Assembly of United European Gastroenterology (UEG). Prof. Laghi is Honorary Member of the Spanish Society of Gastrointestinal and Abdominal Radiology (SEDIA), and of the Iranian Society of Radiology. His research interests lie in Abdominal Imaging and Oncology, including hybrid imaging. He is the author of over 260 papers on "peer reviewed" journals (h-index, Google Scholar: 53) and 20 textbooks.
